Oh the places I went…the year in review!

January started off in Heidelberg Germany. Breath-taking, medieval and oh so cold. The architecture is as interesting as the food scene. For every foodie a dinner at the Scharff’s Schlossweinstube located within the Heidelberg Castle walls is a must night out!

February took me to a wedding in Cabo! Bringing family, friends and fun together.

Early April signals spring break for my daughter and a spur of the moment trip to Switzerland and France!

Fill your water bottle, sneak a drink and enjoy the beauty in Geneva!
Sample the olives, indulge in smelly local cheese, savor fresh baked baguette as all your senses will be alive. It’s market day in Annecy!

Breathtaking views of Mont- Blanc!
The Mer de Glace!

May takes me to Montreal a place that I hold dear to my heart. Bringing back memories of where my studies in the French language began.

July brings on wanderlust yet again and off to Ireland we go. Another college visit in Dublin. One long day of touring Northern Ireland including Games of Thrones set locations, Giant’s Causeway and a quick stop in Belfast for a coffee!

Then September rolls around and considering it’s my birthday month I tend to indulge a little.  I couldn’t have asked for anything better than swimming in the Mediterranean Sea! Nice, St. Paul de Vence and Villefranche-sur-Mer!

October brings a cancelled flight and an extra day in Paris offering an opportunity to explore the Champagne region in France!

When a dear friend offers to accompany me anywhere in Italy during our layover all for the sake of my blog. What do you do? Give up sleep, take a train, drink wine and tour as much as possible! Here is a snippet of Orvieto!

Just steps away from the funicular in Orvieto go ahead take the picture!
Where does it end!
Underground city who knew?
Stroll slowly thru town. Watch, wander and enjoy!

Ending out the year with a warm sun-filled trip to experience swimming with sting-rays in the beautiful, stunning Antigua!

I am so very fortunate and blessed to have experienced an abundance of cities, delicious food, and incredible people. There are so many of you who continue to encourage my blogging and relish in my photos. Thank you always for your gracious words and remember…EAT WELL, TRAVEL OFTEN!
